Connect PayPal

3 minute setup · Read-only access

ℹ️ PayPal requires a Client ID and Client Secret from their Developer Portal. Format: ClientID::ClientSecret

Go to PayPal Developer Portal

Open your browser and go to:

developer.paypal.com
💡 Log in with your PayPal account credentials.

Go to My Apps & Credentials

After logging in, navigate to:

Dashboard→My Apps & Credentials
💡 Make sure you are on the Live tab, not Sandbox.

Create a New App

Click "Create App" and fill in:

  • ✓App Name → IncomeBase (or any name)
  • ✓App Type → Merchant
  • ✓Click "Create App"

Copy Client ID and Secret

On the app details page you will see:

  • ✓Client ID → Copy this
  • ✓Click "Show" under Secret → Copy this too

Paste in IncomeBase

In your IncomeBase dashboard:

ClientID::ClientSecret
  • ✓Go to Connect tab
  • ✓Click "Connect" next to PayPal
  • ✓Enter in this exact format:
💡 Use double colon (::) between Client ID and Secret. No spaces.
🎉
You're all set!

Your PayPal income will now appear on your dashboard in real-time.
